The 2nd Annual Bragan Invitational – Sept 22nd, 2018

Held at The North Conway Country Club on September 22nd, the weekend set up will be similar to last year and as always we will try to make some improvements to your experience.

The Delaney Family will once again be the center of attentions (besides the scholar athletes of course!) and we can only hope for as stellar a weekend weather as we had last year. We thank the Delaney’s very much!

The Website will open for sign ups in about a month. This year there will be two dates: Date one will be sign ups for all those that participated last year. The second date will be for those who have been invited but could not participate last year.

Jake Van Duersen, Senior , Kennett High School. The Eagles, who captured the boys and girls team titles in Division II State Meet, were led by Jake Van Deursen, who won both the boys slalom and giant slalom.

2010 – 2011
Amber McPherson, Senior , Kennett High School. She helped the Eagles garner the state title with two fine efforts in GS and slalom.

2009 – 2010
Michael Larson, Senior , Mike was given $1000 towards new skis and equipment. Michael finished the year helping Kennett High School ski team win the State Championship and individually won the Gold in the state championships.

2008 – 2009
Hillary Weber , Senior , $1000 recipient for trip to Colorado for fall training. Hillary raced all season and finished solid D3 and will be attending Boston College where she was recruited by the ski coach

2007 – 2008
Kali Brennick , Senior , $750 for trip to the regional’s representing her high school team and had an outstanding season.

2006 – 2007
Devin Delaney , Sophomore , $1000 for trip to Colorado for Training at the US Ski team facility. Devin is now racing and training with the women’s U.S. ski team, D team and has competed onteh world stage participating in the Worlds Junior Olympics. Devin has been accepted to Colby College for the fall ‘09

2005 – 2006
Chris Donavan , Senior $750 towards new skis and boots. Chris had a successful high school ski career making the regional’s his junior and senior year. He currently is enrolled at the University of New Hampshire

2004 – 2005
Leanne Smith , Senior $750 towards trip to regional’s. Rec’d ~ $750.00. To date, Leanne is our most accomplished skier. We paid for her trip to the Nationals in California. She has gone on to college at the University Of New Hampshire (UNH). Leanne has made the ski team and has already qualified for the Nationals where she finished in the top five as a freshman. Leanne is currently racing with US Woman’s Ski team (A)

2003 – 2004
Tyler Haynes , Senior $750 Tyler was the first recipient of the Bragan Scholarship. We paid for his trip to the Eastern Regional and new skis. He was one of the best skiers in the state, both downhill and jumper.
